Having graduated from Pontypridd Youth and played as a prop for top flight clubs including Bridgend, Cardiff and Ebbw Vale, Lee Davies returned to Eugene Cross Park to launch his coaching career with Ebbw Vale.
In the meantime he took up a role as coach and mentor with the highly successful Coleg y Cymoedd squad that proved to be a dominant force in the WRU Schools and Colleges League.
A move to Pontypridd followed in 2019 as Lee Davies took on the duties of Forwards Coach whilst continuing his involvement with Coleg y Cymoedd.
Then during a Club restructure in January 2023, Lee was promoted to the role of Joint-Head Coach of Pontypridd RFC with Gareth Wyatt.
