Biography:

A Pontypridd Youth product, Lewis Williams graduated to senior level with his local club Merthyr RFC. Gaining a reputation as a speedy winger and try poacher, Lewis was given the opportunity to join up with Pontypridd during the summer of 2008.

The step up to Premiership level proved to be a successful one for Lewis, combining an ability to break at pace in attack with a deceptive physicality in defence.

A call up to train with and play for the senior Wales Sevens squad followed in 2009.

Lewis' brother Gavin is a professional footballer with Bristol City FC.

Lewis Williams is employed as an electrician.
