<p>Brynaman born, and having previously
represented Cardiff, Gary was a lynchpin of the Pontypridd team
during the successful era of the mid seventies. He later went on to
work as a regional officer with the WRU and is currently a tv and
radio rugby pundit.</p>
<p>Gary Samuel will share his words of wisdom
with Rugby Show host Alun Jones.</p>
<p>The programme will be broadcast on GTFM
107.9FM at 6:30pm on Friday evening.</p>

<p>Show presenter Alun Jones will have an insight
into the ‘enemy camp’ as he interviews two guests from Neath RFC,
although both in their own way having a certain affinity with Ponty
RFC.</p>
<p>Phil Lawrence is a member of the Neath media
team, and under his moniker MC Phil is a well known contributor to
the Ponty website forum “Terrace Talk”.</p>
<p>Lee Evans is a stalwart of the Neath team, but
having played for Pontypridd for many a season before his move to
the Gnoll.</p>

as was the case some years ago when Alun used to teach Steve in
school!</p>

<p>J.P.R. with socks rolled down to the ankles, hair flowing and
more often than not with a bloodied face from the heat of the
battle, is one of the enduring images of our national game. The
great London Welsh and Bridgend full back was capped 55 times by
Wales and 8 times by the Lions.</p>
<p>No doubt GTFM Rugby Show host Alun Jones will want to dwell on
his guest's record against England, having played ten times
against the old enemy and never lost, with a try tally of five to
boot.</p>

team manager Grant “Slim” Hibbert.</p>
<p>Grant is on a flying visit to Wales and
rang up Rugby Show host Alun Jones with a special request to
feature on the programme.</p>
<p>Having been based at Pontypridd RFC with
the New Zealand squad during the under 20s World Cup back in June
2008, Grant is delighted to be able to renew his acquaintances with
our club.</p>
<p>The GTFM Rugby Show will go on air Friday
evening between 6:30 and 7 pm on the 107.9 FM wavelength. It should
be a show not to be missed!</p>
