Ponty under 13s impress at Tonmawr

On Sunday 12th October, the Pontypridd under 13s played an away fixture at Tonmawr, and recorded an impressive victory by 5pts to 27.

The under 13’s took the long road to Tonmawr with only twelve players arriving on time for the kick off due to some dodgy directions!

Ponty started like a train with Luke Hier driving over under the posts, Cody Baker converting. By this time Ponty were building up a head of steam and MaCauley B made an instant impression with a well worked try. Soon after, Mac G finished off some superb inter play to make the score 0 - 17. Just before half time, MaCauley B playing out of position in the centre crossed for his second to make it 0 - 22.

The second half was a totally different game with the home team being rewarded with a try in corner. Ponty then had the last say with an impressive try by Connor Davies to make the final score 5- 27.
