The Pontypridd RFC Mini & Junior sections are delighted to announce a new partnership with Grow Enterprise Wales (GrEW) which will contribute greatly to the upkeep of Taff Vale Park.
GrEW have teamed up with Pontypridd Mini & Junior RFC to help with the maintenance of the playing fields at Taff Vale Park. Whilst undergoing 'on the job' training in all the skills required to maintain sports field the GrEW team are directly helping young people in the community to participate in sport.
Grow Enterprise Wales is a new social enterprise that helps young people across south Wales back into work. It has three businesses:
Grow Enterprise Wales (GrEW) is committed to working with and supporting local community groups across the valleys.
Ferenc Bliszko, who manages GrEW said:
"GrEW offers young people the chance to learn valuable skills and working habits in real jobs. Cutting the grass for Pontypridd Mini Rugby is just one of the ways we can help our local communities.
Our window recycling business will take UPVC windows free of charge from fitting companies and recycle the raw materials.
Clean and Grow are currently cleaning the communal areas of flat blocks and will soon be offering to service empty properties and windows on a commercial basis."
