Ponty Mini & Juniors to host Worcester

On Sunday 21^st February the Pontypridd RFC Mini & Junior sections will be hosting their counterparts from Worcester RFC.

The club have nurtured strong links with Worcester at all age levels, and a warm welcome is planned for the visitors from across Offa’s Dyke.

A series of games will be played at Taff Vale Park on Sunday, with the under 11s match being contested for the “Pontypridd v Worcester Annual Challenge Trophy” – a competition whch was started in the 2007 – 08 season and is played home and away on each consecutive year.

A large contingent is expected from Worcester, and an afternoon of hospitality and celebration is being planned in the Ponty Clubhouse. The bar will remain open until 6pm with members of the Pontypridd Male Voice Choir expected to be in attendance to give a few songs. All are welcome to join in.
