The colours of Pontypridd RFC are being proudly worn in Kigali City, Rwanda, courtesy of a kit donation made by the club’s Mini & Junior section.

Responding to an appeal from the charity “Rwanda Restored” the Ponty Mini & Juniors packaged up a complete set of former club kit and dispatched it to the Central African country. The kit is now being proudly worn by the sports team of Gihogwe Secondary  School in Kigali City.

The team have sent a message of appreciation for the donation;

“We are very proud to wear the rugby kit donated to us by the Mini section of Pontypridd Rugby Club. Special thanks to Mr. Chris Kingsbury and Mr. Martyn Lewis for their kindness to us all in our school. Whenever we wear these jerseys we shall think of Pontypridd and Wales.”
