Harley Thomson departs

Full back Harley Thomson has departed the Pontypridd squad before the commencement of the new season, work commitments preventing him from dedicating the necessary time required for training and playing at semi pro level.

The dynamic back spent one term with Pontypridd after joining from Llanharan, and made his mark as a pacey counter attacker and a reliable kicker.

Twenty year old Thomson made fourteen competitive appearances for the club, crossing for three tries and kicking one conversion.

His contribution was greatly appreciated by the supporters, management and his fellow players, and everyone at Pontypridd will wish Harley Thomson every success in his future ventures.
