The Ponty logo - "on the buses"
The Ponty logo - "on the buses"

Pontypridd supporters may have noticed their club logo, along with that of club partners Amber Electrical & Mechanical Contractors, as a branding strap flying around the streets of Rhondda Cynon Taf.

This is because both club and sponsor are running a four week awareness promotion, with the combined brands prominently displayed on the sides of local buses.

Since the demise of the Celtic Warriors, it might be fair to say that a number of people in the Valleys are unaware that Pontypridd RFC still exists – the aim now is to get the message across that the club is alive and kicking, and seeking to increase its support base as well as increasing the brand exposure of the club to the community of Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Amber is one of the club’s main partners and Pontypridd RFC are very grateful for their support both on and off the field. Directors Ryan Powell and Paul Jones have been committed to this joint venture and both parties are striving to develop their partnership further.

The services offered by Amber include:

  • Lighting
  • Power
  • CCTV
  • Fire & Security
  • Data
  • Inspection & Testing
  • Heating & Plumbing
  • Air Conditioning
  • Ventilation

Amber can be contacted on 01443 841122 or via email at
