Student Rugby League Four Nations at Sardis Road – 9th to 15th July 2023

Pontypridd RFC are looking forward to hosting the 2023 Student Rugby League Four Nations at Sardis Road – a repeat of the 2018 tournament hosted by Wales. The tournament consists of three lots of ‘double-headers,’ played over three days over a one week period starting this Sunday.

The first game kicks off on Sunday 9th July when Ireland face England at 1:30pm, that’s before Wales face Scotland at 5:00pm.

Day two is on Wednesday 12th July with a clash between England and Scotland at 3:30pm before hosts Wales tackle Ireland at 7:00pm.

The final day of action is Saturday 15th July, with Scotland v Ireland taking place at 1:30pm before Wales v England concludes the tournament at 5:00pm.

Entry to all games is £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and free for U16s. A bundle ticket for adults is just £10 for all of the games.

This will be the seventeenth Student Rugby League staging of the Four Nations, with reigning champions England looking to add a fourteenth title.

Wales are the only other nation to have won the trophy, last doing so in 2012 and previously in 2009 and 2004 and whilst neither Scotland or Ireland have taken a title, Scotland has achieved second place in 2018 and 2019 and will be looking to push for victory this time around.
