Rhys Shellard’s Testimonial Match / Pre-game hospitality – Friday 27th May

Pontypridd RFC can now confirm all the details for club-stalwart flanker Rhys Shellard’s Testimonial Match.

It’s recently been announced that Rhys is departing the club after many years of service during which time he’s racked up 263 appearances, but there will be one last hurrah. A grand finale – Shelly’s Testimonial Match will take place at Sardis Road on Friday 27th May, kick-off at 7:00pm.

A Rhys Shellard Legends XV will play a Pontypridd Legends team featuring many former favourites from over the years.

Entry for the match is priced at £10 per person, £5 for under 16’s and this includes joining the players for a party in the clubhouse after the game whilst enjoying a live band.

HOSPITALITY:

There’s also pre-game hospitality for supporters to enjoy from 3:30pm onwards. Tickets for this are priced at £25 per person or £250 for a table of 10 – this includes entry to the game.

The guest speaker will be legendary Welsh rugby broadcaster Phil Steele, there will be an auction with great prizes as well as hot food.

It’s going to be a superb afternoon, evening and night to celebrate the career of a Ponty RFC legend.
