Ponty Youth v Bargoed Youth & Wales v Georgia – this Saturday

This Saturday 7th October we have a ‘double-header’ on and off the pitch at Sardis Road.

First of all Pontypridd Youth welcome Bargoed Youth to Sardis Road, the match between the two Mid-District sides kicks off at 12:30pm. The Youth match will be finished just in time for supporters to take their seats in the Clubhouse ready for Wales’ final pool stage match against Georgia in the 2023 World Cup, kick-off for that is 2:00pm.

Wales’ match is just the start of a top afternoon of international rugby, England play Samoa at 4:45pm before the crunch match in Pool B – Ireland v Scotland which kicks off at 8:00pm.

The Clubhouse will be open from 11:30am onwards and with no match for the senior side why not come along to support the Youth before enjoying a full day of live World Cup action on the screens in our Clubhouse.

BACK HOME…

This Saturday’s match heralds a return to Sardis Road for Ponty Youth after run of away games in recent weeks – they’ve been on the road at Ebbw Vale in a friendly and Brecon in the Youth Plate competition, so a home fixture is very welcome this weekend.

Throughout October and November the Youth return to a packed league programme with some great local derbies pencilled in against Llantwit Fardre, Ynysybwl, Gilfach Goch, Rhydyfelin and Treochy.

All support is welcome, please see their schedule for the next couple of months below –
