Matchday Preview – Pontypridd v Llanelli

Pontypridd play their first home match for 4 weeks this Saturday 2nd April 2022, as we welcome Llanelli RFC to Sardis Road – the Indigo Group Premiership match kicks off at 2:30pm.

The last time the two clubs met was Saturday 21st December 2019 at Sardis Road, tries from Alex Webber and Joel Raikes earned Ponty a 26-15 win on that occasion.

Llanelli’s last outing was a 45-14 reverse at the Talbot Athletic Ground on Friday 18th March, and the West Walians have suffered a few defeats prior to that match. In contrast the men from Sardis Road have built momentum and are currently on a 4-game winning run in the league, a run which has taken Ponty into the top 4.
