The last time Ponty came away from the ‘Port with a win was Sunday 17th November 2019, nearly four years ago. On that occasion tries from Alex Webber, Jamie Hill, Sean Moore and Morgan Richards saw the Valley Commandos win a thrilling match packed full of late drama by 37 points to 35.

Pontypridd will be looking to get back on the winning trail Wednesday evening following a 40-31 reverse at Pontypool in their last outing, conversely, Newport beat Merthyr at Newport Stadium yesterday by 29 points to 21.
