Match Preview – Pontypridd v Swansea

On Saturday 11th November Pontypridd RFC welcome Swansea RFC to Sardis Road for an Indigo Group Premiership match, kick-off is 2:30pm.

Pontypridd and Swansea won one match apiece in the league last season. On Saturday 1st October 2022 Swansea won at St. Helen’s by 45 points to 22, although Ponty did come away with a bonus point as consolation after bagging four tries. Then on Saturday 6th May this year the Valley Commandos beat the All Whites by 29 points to 10 in the final match of the season at Sardis Road – tries by Niko Matawalu, Nathan Huish, Kristian Parker and Aled Ward sealed a bonus point win.

Ponty and Swansea will be looking to etch a tick in the win column this weekend after both suffered defeats in their last outings – Ponty lost at Newport whilst Swansea succumbed to Merthyr at The Wern in the last round of league matches.
