Match Preview – Pontypridd v Pontypool

Pontypridd RFC welcome Pontypool RFC to Sardis Road on Saturday 12th August, the pre-season friendly kicks off at 2:30pm.

Fresh from promotion back to the Welsh Premiership, Saturday will be Pooler’s first visit to Sardis Road since November 2011 – that season Pontypridd achieved the ‘double’ over the men from Gwent. Saturday’s match, although a ‘friendly’ on paper should be a good tough run out between two clubs that have recruited with a view to really make a mark on the Welsh Premiership this season.

For Pontypridd, there will be a mixture of existing squad members and trialists on show looking to impress and an exciting opportunity for Ponty supporters to get to see some of the Club’s exciting new signings for the first time.
