James Douglas sponsors of Ponty v Merthyr

Pontypridd RFC were thrilled to welcome one of the Club’s core sponsors James Douglas as the match sponsor for our Welsh Cup clash against Merthyr last Saturday 23rd September. The company’s Managing Director Mr. Douglas Haig and his guests were presented with one of Ponty’s new away shirts by Club Chief Executive Steve Reardon just after the match.

James Douglas is a local, independent estate and lettings agency based in Pontypridd town centre. They offer expert services in both Sales and Lettings covering the Rhondda Cynon Taff from Taffs Well to Abercynon and beyond. Last year they acquired Leek and Weston Sales and Lettings as part of their commitment to investing in Pontypridd’s property market and to continue to offer high quality homes in the area.

Their Managing Director, Douglas Haig, is delighted on the expansion in the area, his position as a Non-Executive Director for Wales as part of the National Residential Landlord Association (NRLA), means that as an agency they are at the forefront of the legislation changes, in particular with the recent Renting Homes Wales Act – and therefore if there are any landlords in the local area, that wish to use a local agent to ensure they are compliant with this legislation please contact them.

For any potential buyers in the area, James Douglas have just launched a brand new online valuation tool – this tool is completely free to try and you can find out how much your home is worth by clicking this link: https://valuation.james-douglas.co.uk/home/4562

Commenting on last Saturday’s match, James Douglas’ Managing Director Douglas Haig said: “We are proud to have been the match sponsors for the Ponty versus Merthyr game on Saturday. Despite the result it was a great day, we invited some of our staff, clients and even some local employees from Pontypridd Town to join us on the day! We are proud sponsors of the club and hope it shows our commitment to Pontypridd and the area, it’s important we all support each other through what’s been a difficult year for businesses.”
