Macháček, Jan
A senior Czech international, Jan Macháček first came to Wales to play for Newport.
A prolific try scorer from the no 8 position, Jan joined up with Pontypridd in 1999, and true to form, crossed for five touchdowns for the club despite being given limited opportunities to play.
He went on to play for Sale Sharks and French club Montferrand, while also captaining the Czech Republic's international team.
Jan is director of Infonia s.r.o., the company which hosts the official Pontypridd RFC website.
