Geraint Lewis joined Pontypridd having developed through the ranks of Llantwit Fardre and UWIC, and already having gained recognition as an outstanding back row prospect.
His role as a creative playmaker off the back of the forward unit further enhanced his reputation, with international honours for Wales at A and senior level to follow, winning his first cap out in South Africa in 1999.
Geraint moved to Swansea for a while, only to return to Pontypridd for another spell in the year 2001.
Joining Bristol in 2005, Geraint made a welcome return to Sardis Road in readiness for the 2007 - 2008 campaign.
Geraint departed Sardis Road for the final time in the summer of 2009. A formidable presence on the field of play, his deft playmaking ability and delightful touches on the ball will be remembered fondly by all at Sardis Road.
Geraint Lewis now takes up the challenge of becoming Player/Coach at his beloved Llantwit Fardre RFC.
