Injury update

The Pontypridd squad is making the most of a three week break from competitive action to nurse some of its walking wounded back to full health.

The most recent injury victims are centre Gary Williams with a twisted ankle and lock Kristian Parker with bruised ribs, neither expected to be long term absentees. Outside half Ben Jones is being assessed for a head knock he suffered in the recent win over Carmarthen Quins.

Prop Morgan Bosanko (pictured above) suffered a fractured thumb in the same match, which could see him sidelined for a month.

On the path to recovery are full back Lloyd Rowlands (ankle) and flanker Rhys Shellard (calf), both being monitored with expectations of being fit for the away trip to RGC on 12th October.

The longer term absentees in the squad are centre Alex Knott, undergoing an analysis of concussion, centre Ioan Evans and lock Chris Dicomidis both recovering from shoulder operations and prop Curtis Reynolds with a knee injury.
