Pontypridd v Cardiff Matchday Preview

Pontypridd host Cardiff in the penultimate round of the Indigo Premiership Cup Eastern pool on Saturday 20th November, the match kicking off at the revised time of 1:00pm.

Pontypridd will be looking to bounce back from their loss to local rivals Merthyr when they welcome Cardiff to Sardis Road. The men from the nation’s capital have made a strong start to the season with five wins from their eight outings. During this season’s previous encounter between the two it was Cardiff who took the spoils with a 29-15 win at the Arms Park Stadium back in early October.

The games between Ponty and Cardiff usually produce close fought encounters and the match this Saturday should be no different.

Supporters are reminded that the Pwllgwaun end remains closed and access is only via the clubhouse entrance. Ticket prices for the game are priced at £12 for adults and £10 for concessions with under 16’s gaining free entrance provided they are accompanied by a paying adult.

Wales’s Autumn Internationals continue this Saturday as they will be looking to build on their win against Fiji last time out, as they take on Australia in their final match of the Autumn International Series with the match kicking off at 5.30pm. Preceding the Wales game England host current World Champions South Africa with the game kicking off at 3.15pm. After the Wales game France take on New Zealand kicking off at 8pm. All of these games are live on Amazon Prime and are being shown at the Sardis Road clubhouse.

Before Ponty’s kick off, live football will be on the screens with Leicester hosting current Premier League table toppers Chelsea with the match kicking off at 12.30pm.

With a fantastic day of live sport on offer Sardis Road is the place to be this coming Saturday!
