Pontypridd Schools face Llanelli in Dewar Final

Pontypridd Schools will face Llanelli Schools in the 2018 Dewar Shield Final.

Both teams battled their way through close fought semi-final encounters to claim a place in the final showdown.

On Wednesday evening 18th May Llanelli edged past reigning champions Rhondda with a 13pts to 12 victory. Pontypridd had previously claimed a 12pts to 15 win over Cardiff on 21st March.

In the Dewar Shield league table Pontypridd had finished joint top with Cardiff, with Llanelli back in fourth position.

The 2018 Dewar Shield will be played on Tuesday 1st May at the Principality Stadium kicking off at 6pm.
