Pontypridd begin Welsh Cup defence away at Neath

The draw for the first round of the Welsh Premiership Cup has been made and Pontypridd RFC will play away against Neath RFC.

The Valley Commandos will start the defence of their trophy at the venue where the team triumphed in last season’s semi-final against Newbridge. This season’s match at the Gnoll will take place on Saturday 27th September 2025 and kick-off will be 2:30pm.

Ponty were due to host Beddau in the Premiership on that particular day, but as cup matches take precedence that game will now be rescheduled with a new date – all the details for this will be announced in due course.
