A product of Pontyclun RFC minis and juniors, Joe joined Llanharan RFC for the 2023/24 season and helped them win the Division 2 League title, Silver Ball and Division 2 Cup Final at the Principality Stadium during that campaign. His eye-catching performances alerted Bridgend and as a result Joe signed on at the Dunraven Brewery Field for their 2024/25 Super Rygbi Cymru campaign before making the move to Sardis Road the following season.
