Merthyr v Pontypridd – rescheduled date confirmed

After discussions between both clubs, Pontypridd RFC can confirm that the team’s Indigo Group Premiership match away at Merthyr RFC will take place on Friday 24th February 2023 with a 7:30pm kick-off.
The match was originally scheduled to take place at The Wern on Saturday 25th March, but following Ponty’s progression in the Welsh Cup this date clashed with the team’s semi-final tie against Newport.
A new date for the ‘Wern leg’ of the Valleys Derby has now been approved.
CONFIRMATION: Merthyr v Pontypridd – Friday 24th February 2023, kick-off 7:30pm.
