Lloyd Riley played on permit for Ponty in a friendly in April 2024 against Cardiff University, and an excellent personal performance saw him bag a try before being awarded Man of the Match later that particular evening.
Lloyd is also a former Pontypridd Mini and Junior player and joined the Club’s senior ranks in the summer of 2024 having helped Rhydyfelin to a 5th placed finish in Division One East Central the previous season.
Lloyd was as equally comfortable playing blindside flanker or no.8 and made twenty four appearances for Pontypridd RFC during his sole season with the senior club before departing at the end of the 2024/25 season.
