Huntley, Brandon

Hailing from Pontycymer, Brandon Huntley developed his skills at Bryncethin RFC before his path then led him to Bridgend College and whilst there he captained the team, and also had a stint in the Welsh Premiership with Newport RFC.

After finishing college Brandon played three seasons with Cardiff Met University, the highlight being a WRU National Youth Cup victory with the Uni side. After university, he joined Welsh Championship side Maesteg Harlequins and played there for three seasons before signing up with Pontypridd in the summer of 2024.

Brandon featured heavily during Ponty’s 2024 pre-season schedule, and made his official bow for the Club from the bench during the team’s first league game of the season against Bargoed at Sardis Road. He departed the club in the first half of the 2024/25 season having made four appearances.
