A feast of Women’s Rugby at Sardis Road / Gwledd o Rygbi’r Menywod ar Heol Sardis

There will be an afternoon of top quality rugby at Sardis Road on Sunday 16th September as the WRU Women’s Championship gets underway.

Wales Women head coach Rowland Phillips has declared his intention to use the tournament as an extended trial from which the Six Nations squad will be selected.

The first round of matches will be played on the 3G pitch at Sardis Road on Sunday 16th September, with further rounds to follow over the course of five weeks at various regional venues.

The action will kick off at 12:30pm on Sunday as the Blues take on the Dragons, with RGC then facing the Scarlets at 2:30pm.

Admission to the ground will be charged at £3 with under 16’s allowed in free.

Mae prif hyfforddwr Menywod Cymru Rowland Phillips wedi datgan ei fwriad i ddefnyddio’r gystadleuaeth fel prawf estynedig ar gyfer dewis carfan y Chwe’ Gwlad.

Mae’r rownd gyntaf o gemau i’w chwarae ar faes 3G Heol Sardis ar ddydd Sul 16eg o Fedi, gyda rowndiau eraill dros y pum wythnos ganlynol ar feysydd rhanbarthol gwahanol.

Bydd y cyffro ar gychwyn dydd Sul am 12:30pm wrth i’r Gleision herio’r Dreigiau, gyda RGC i wynebu’r Scarlets am 2:30pm.
