Biography: 

A product of local club, Aberdare, Gary Paul Williams was drafted into the Pontypridd team at the tail-end of the 2008 - 2009 season as injury cover.

Having won international honours with Wales Youth and Great Britain Youth in the League code, Gary was earning a reputation with Aberdare as one of the most promising up and coming talents in the Welsh divisions.

A talented fullback, with a rapid turn of speed, Gary was awarded a full-time contract with Pontypridd at the commencement of the 2009 - 2010 season.

Offering a presence as a back-line attacker, and a competent kicker out of hand and at goal, Gary was welcomed as a valued addition to the Ponty squad, given the opportunity to impose his physicality as an inside centre.

Gary is employed as an electrician in the mining industry.
