The Pontypridd RFC Mini & Junior section has applied for a ‘NatWest Community Force Award’ to help finance the on-going regeneration of Taff Vale Park. All Ponty supporters can make their vote count in favour of this application.
If successful, the award could bring in a valuable sum of £6,000 towards the upgrade of Taff Vale Park – home of the Mini & Juniors.

Pontypridd Mini & Junior Rugby Section Application:
To provide changing rooms with showers etc for the playing of sports, including Rugby at Taff Vale Park, Pontypridd. The facility will include a gym for inside training. The facilities will be available to the whole community including local schools.
What does your charity/project do?
We will provide the facilities to allow various sports to be undertaken on Taff Vale Park including Rugby, Cricket etc and other summer activities. The indoor multigym will provide the equipment to carry out various indoor fitness activities for children and adults. Taff Vale Park was once a famous sporting venue in the 1920/30's which fell into disrepair and was becoming derelict. We have restored the playing pitches and are building a new changing room/multigym.
How does your charity/project support the local community?
To provide the facilities to partake in various sports activities where there are currently none, for both children and adults in the local community.
What do you plan to use the CommunityForce award for?
Sports equipment and in particular indoor fitness machines etc
