The Captain's Blog

Since my last blog we have had it all, in terms of results and performances. Narrow victories, narrow losses, two trips to Ireland, a lesson in how to play rugby and the lowest scoring game I have ever been involved in. The last two months have been action packed with lots of rugby being played. more

The tragic news this weekend about Gary Speed really puts everything into perspective, especially the foul mood I was in after the performance against Llanelli. more

I would like to start this Captain's Blog with an apology for the lack of previous blogs over the summer period. Since the final game of last season which ultimately ended in disappointment against Llanelli I have had a busy summer. more

There is only one place this Blog can begin and that’s May 2^nd 2011... Cup Final day. The day as a whole is one I’m sure both players and supporters will never forget. more

I can’t believe it’s been two months since my last blog and many games have come and gone in this time. more

It has been a quiet month on the pitch with a number of games being postponed due to frozen pitches and the snow. The one game we have played was a good win over stubborn opposition Ayr. more

The postponement of the Llandovery game gave me a chance to look back on what has been a manic month and a half since my last blog. more

If someone had said to me during pre-season that we would be top of the league having won all our games so far, I would've bitten their arm off. more

What a week!! Firstly being announced as captain for the forthcoming season, then the revealing of my Grogg aka the ‘Diddy Dico’ and to round it all off retaining our crown at the Abercynon sevens in dramatic fashion against the “old enemy”! more

Pontypridd RFC have nominated Chris Dicomidis as club captain for the 2010 – 2011 campaign. more

The end of the season has arrived and I sit in work (during my break) thinking of what I can say in this, my final Captain’s Blog. more

At long last I've got some time to myself to sit down and pen a blog. I know it's been a while, but it's also been a while since we last played!! more
