Stuart Williams

It is with the utmost regret that Pontypridd RFC has to report the untimely passing of one of its players, Stuart Williams.

Stuart was a popular character around the club, one who gave his all as a hard grafting prop forward on the pitch, a long serving and loyal member of the squad.

The club is today devastated by the news of Stuart's passing, and all thoughts now turn in deepest sympathy to his young family in their time of grief.

An absolutely outstanding servant to our Club.
My deepest condolences to all the family at this very sad time.
May you rest in peace and in the knowledge that you were truly loved around Sardis Road.

        • winsky01 Couldn't have said it any better COTP, R.I.P, Stuart.

          • Pontydragon I would have nicknamed him Rock...cause that's what he was. So dependable. Will be truly missed. Thoughts and prayers with his, and the entire Pontypridd RFC family.

          • Andrew I thought last week was tough but this is beyond tough. Firstly my sympathies to Sturt's family and friends who must be going through hell at this awful time. Secondly how awful that Sturat just like his cousin, Snid, was taken from us at an all to early age. I can only talk as an exile but I deeply respected Stuart and the total commitment he gave to Pontypridd RFC, and his passing leaves a huge hole andthe best tribute I can pass on Stuart the player is to say I always felt that bit more secure with Stuart in the team. You will be missed Stuart R.I.P
