Sponsorship update - InBev UK

With the new season rapidly approaching, there is further exciting news to announce on the marketing activities of Pontypridd RFC.  InBev UK who have been a major partner with Ponty Rugby since 2007, have extended their sponsorship deal with the club for a further two seasons. 

InBev UK is part of Anheuser Busch InBev, which is the leading brewer in the world, and it brews, distributes and markets a vast portfolio of “household names” of the nation’s best loved brands of ales, stouts, bitters and lagers. 

One thing which will change in the coming two seasons is that a different InBev UK brand will be featured as a prominent logo.  We will now see the iconic red triangle of Bass, recognized as the first registered trademark in the United Kingdom, emblazoned on the back of the players' match shirts and training kit.  The world famous Bass logo will also be proudly featured around the Sardis Road stadium, at a number of sites including the walkway from the main entrance and the covered enclosure.

Ponty Rugby Ltd Hon. Director of Finance Peter Howells commented: “Our marketing efforts are continually being rewarded, and this sponsorship partnership is more excellent news for Pontypridd RFC, due to the fact that we have entered into a further agreement with such a globally recognised company and brand.

“This deal will again give the club a winning blend of InBev, who provide a great portfolio of drinks, and Mark Davies who, with his team, keeps and serves them in superb condition.  With this combination there is little doubt that our bar sales will continue to increase, particularly with the refurbished surroundings of our function rooms, bars and lounges.”
