Siggery, Ed

Carmarthen-born Edward David Siggery has come up through the ranks of the Scarlets Academy, winning caps for Wales at under 16, under 18 and under 20 level in the process.

He has also gained valuable Premiership experience, turning out for the region’s three clubs, Llanelli, Carmarthen Quins, and most recently Llandovery.

Standing at 6ft 3in and weighing in at 16st 8lbs, the back rower will have much to offer in terms of both mobility and physicality to the Ponty back row.

Siggery enlisted to study at the University of Glamorgan, enabling his move to Pontypridd.

After a phenomenal first season for Ponty, Ed opted to take up an offer from English Premiership outfit, London Irish, and departed Pontypridd in the 2010/11 close season.
