Pontypridd RFC and the Mini, Junior and Youth Rugby Sections would like to convey a big thank you to RT Training Services for providing excellent quality Food Hygiene training for our staff and volunteers!

RT Training Services based in Upper Boat provided the training for free, with the club and section only covering the costs of the examination papers and certificates!

Our staff and volunteers are trained to safely provide food, drinks and refreshments on match days, at tournaments or whenever needed; having gained Royal Society of Public Health Level 2 Certificates in the Fundamentals of Food Hygiene!

The photograph shows Bob Thompson (RT Training Services) handing over the certificates to Sardis Clubhouse Manager Mark Davies. Also photographed are members of the clubhouse staff, along with representatives of the Pontypridd Mini, Junior & Youth Sections Committee and Pontypridd Board Member Chris Kingsbury.

We would especially like to thank Avril Goodayle for professionally conducting the training at Sardis Road and a huge thank you to RT Training Services Managing Director Bob Thompson for financing the course!

The sponsorship of the training course is a continuation of the support from RT Training Services following their generous preseason sponsorship of first aid kits throughout the section.
