With seven games played Pontypridd RFC are sitting comfortable in forth position in the Principality Premiership table following their victory over Swansea 32 pts to 5 at St Helens.

Pontypridd’s next game comes at home against Ebbw Vale the only unbeaten team with a 100% record left in the Premiership.

Ebbw Vale are going strong with 7 wins from 7 games and the Steelmen will want to keep this run of form going following their 22 pts to 7 victory over Cross keys on the weekend.

Saturdays televised clash at Sardis Road being shown live on S4C Scrum V is going to be a mouthwatering contest between the team that is unbeaten in the Premiership and Pontypridd who have scored an impressive 152 points in their last three games.

Reigning Champions Merthyr  defeated bottom of the table Neath at the Gnoll 34 pts to 6, to leave the All blacks propping up the table with 7 losses from 7 games.

Aberavon who sit one position above Pontypridd in the table came out winners in the West Wales derby beating Carmarthen Quins 10 pts to 5 at the Talbot ground.

Else where in the Premiership, the televised encounter on Friday saw Cardiff beat Bedwas 16 pts to 10.

The upsets from the round saw Llandovery losing to Bridgend 25 pts to 20 at the Brewery Field and the travelling Black and Ambers beating RGC 15pts to 8 in North Wales.
