Premiership round up - 26/11/11

Llandovery maintained top position in the Premiership despite suffering defeat, as the trailing pack of clubs failed to capitalise on the opportunity.

The Drovers failed to make an impact at Cross Keys, going down to defeat by 13pts to 0. Neath were the only team from the top five to register a victory, as they came from behind in their home tie against Bedwas to win by 27pts to 12, scoring four tries in the process.

Bridgend and Aberavon fought out a 13pt all draw at the Brewery Field whilst Pontypridd succumbed to a disappointing 24pts to 16 defeat away at Llanelli.

Cardiff registered the biggest scoreline of the day, condemning bottom club Tonmawr to their twelfth successive defeat at the Arms Park by 50pts to 11. Needless to say the capital club secured a try bonus point with eight touchdowns, six of those claimed by centre Tom Williams.

Swansea and Carmarthen also enjoyed home victories - against Newport by 21pts to 16  and Pontypool by 26pts to 6 respectively.
