Ponty Youth all set for the new season

Pontypridd Youth are all set for the new season, and will commence their build up to the forthcoming campaign with a summer friendly fixture against Porth Youth on Saturday 6^th August.

The match will be played at Sardis Road, kicking off at *12:30pm (amended ko time)*.

The Youth squad have already been grafting hard in training, integrating some of their sessions with the Ponty senior squad.

On Saturday 23d July a day was spent on the Merthyr Mawr sand dunes, which was a tough session but enjoyed by all the players, giving them an opportunity to blow away the summer cobwebs.

The players worked hard running down to the beach and up the infamous ‘Big Dipper’, earning the praise of coach Simon Bayliss for the great effort put in.

A new team manager has been appointed for Pontypridd Youth, with Danny Rees taking over the duties and working in conjunction with coaches Simon Bayliss and Andrew Price.
