Ponty under 14s take the honours against Cheltenham

On Sunday 27^th September an exciting game of junior rugby took place at Sardis Road as the Ponty under 14s hosted touring team the Cheltenham Tigers.

Playing against the current Gloucestershire County Cup champions, the Ponty youngsters ran out as deserved winners by 44pts to 19, in a contest which was a great advert for age grade rugby.

The visitors from Cheltenham played their part in a thrilling encounter, with a focus on attacking rugby from both sides.
