On Monday 15th November Pontypridd RFC players were out and about across the area, teaming up with club sponsors, promoting ticket sales and fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The players were driven about in a pink Fiat 500 kindly supplied by club sponsors Griffin Mill.
First stop was the T Mobile centre in Merthyr to meet up with Sales Manager and Ponty supporter James Vukashin and his staff.
Then on to the DW Fitness Centre to meet and greet members and staff, promoting the forthcoming Premiership home match against Newport, and raising more funds for Macmillan.
Ponty Rugby Ltd Sponsorship & Marketing Manager Gareth Howells, who accompanied the players on their mini tour of the Heads of the Valleys, commented: “It is great to be interacting with our partners as well as making links with such a massive business as T-Mobile.
“We are making the effort to get out and about, promoting the brand of Pontypridd RFC. A big thanks goes to Adam Thomas, Dean Gunter and Gavin Dacey for giving of their time today, and to Gary our driver and to all of our partners for showing their support.”
The next event of a busy week for the Ponty squad is the turning on of the Pontypridd Town Christmas lights on Thursday evening where players will again be mingling with the crowds.
Friday night will round off the Macmillan charity week with a special event held at the Griffin Mill showrooms in Upper Boat.
