Ponty host Ystalyfera in final pre-season outing

Pontypridd will round off their pre-season itinerary with a home fixture against Ystalyfera RFC on Saturday 25th August.

The friendly match at Sardis Road will kick off at 2:30pm.

Ystalyfera finished a creditable second in National League Division 1 West Central last season and were 2017 WRU Plate finalists, losing only on try count to Penallta. The Swansea Valley club will be competent opponents for Ponty in the build up to the new Premiership campaign.

Pontypridd’s pre-season fixture list has been finalised as follows:

• Saturday 11th August – Cambrian Welfare (H) – 2:30pm ko
• Saturday 18th August – Clifton (A) – 3pm ko (tbc)
• Saturday 25th August – Ystalyfera (H) – 2:30pm ko
