Player of the Year awards 2008

The annual awards ceremony and social evening for the Pontypridd RFC Player of the Year will be held on Saturday evening 24^th May.

The event will signal the culmination of what will hopefully be another successful campaign for the Valley Commandoes, with supporters showing their appreciation of the endeavours of the Ponty squad over the past eight months.

There are three awards to be made on the night:

• Pontypridd RFC Player of the Year – nominated by club members
• Pontypridd RFC Most Improved Player of the Year – nominated by club members
• Bob Penberthy Award – for services to the club – nominated by the Supporters’ Club committee

Nomination papers have been issued, with all members (season ticket holders) of Pontypridd RFC eligible to vote. The voting forms are available from the club bar or club office at Sardis Road.

The awards ceremony will be held during a social evening on Saturday 24^th May. A buffet meal, live entertainment and disco will be provided, with tickets now on sale (and going fast!) priced at £10 per person.
