Penzance invasion plans finalised

The Pontypridd RFC summer tour to Cornwall has invoked a phenomenal response amongst the club’s support base, with a second hotel in Penzance booked due to the high demand for places.

The short tour will commence on Friday 8^th August 2008 and return on Sunday 10^th August, with Pontypridd playing two fixtures against Mounts Bay on the Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. The tour is based in the hometown of Mounts Bay RFC, Penzance.

Two hotels have now been booked to accommodate supporters – the four star Queens Hotel (which is already fully booked) and the three star Union Hotel. Tradition tells us that Horatio Nelson once stayed at the Union Hotel, but come the first week of August, the place will be full of one eyed Ponty fanatics!

The price of the tour has been set at £125 per person, inclusive of coach travel, two nights bed and breakfast accommodation, and a tour polo shirt. A £20 non refundable deposit will be required when a booking is made.
