Pontypridd under 14s Awards Night

The Pontypridd RFC under 14’s squad recently held their annual awards evening at the Sardis Road Clubhouse, celebrating the culmination of another successful campaign, culminating with the winning of the Blues Challenge Cup.

The awards for 2008 – 2009 were allocated as follows:

• Most Improved Player -  Dion Holland.
• Most Consistent Forward - Daniel Gains.
• Most Consistent Back - Shane Hutchinson.
• Clubman of the Year  - James Page.
• Coaches’ Player of the Year - Garyn Smith.
• Players’ Player of the Year - Sam Edwards.

All involved with the under 14's would like to offer their thanks to Jonathan Elley for spending the evening with the team and presenting all the awards. Jonathan himself has enjoyed a wonderful season on the field, being capped for his country at under 16's level.

The section are very proud of his achievements having now been capped at under 11's and 16's level whilst playing for the Pontypridd RFC Mini & Junior section - we all wish him every success for the future.
