New Worthington Ponty Player of the Month Award

We are delighted as "Brewery Sponsor" of Pontypridd RFC to launch a new "Ponty Player of the Month Award". But this is an award with a difference it will be chosen by you the loyal fans and supporters of the club. Every month we ask you to either write in or e-mail your vote of who you think deserves this prestigious award. It may not be the most famous or who has scored the most points or the best try but perhaps a forward who week in week out is putting body on the line and giving heart and sole for the club. All votes cast will be added up and the winner chosen.

Then one lucky voting supporter will be chosen from the Worthington Barrel and invited to come along to the next match as guest of Coors and actually meet and make the presentation with a company representative. The Award it self for the winning player will be a magnificent piece of crystal. While for the winning supporter, it will not only be two tickets for the game but an appearance on the field for the award presentation prior to a match to meet and have his / her photograph taken with the Ponty Player of the Month. Plus the winner will also take home 2 dozen cans of Worthington to toast Ponty's continued success. All votes cast per month will be retained and added up to give the overall "Worthington Player of the Season Award" to be presented at a suitable prestigious event. - Now that really will be an award to win!
