Morning pitch inspection at Sardis

A pitch inspection will be held at Sardis Road at 9am on Saturday morning 4^th February prior to the scheduled league match between Pontypridd and Carmarthen Quins.

Temperatures have been falling to overnight lows of down to -6c which has caused the playing surface at Sardis to freeze over.

There is a slight improvement in temperatures expected into Saturday, although with a chance of snowfall in its wake.

A decision as to whether the Sardis Road pitch is playable will therefore be made early on the morning of the game.
