The twenty-two year old proved to be a vital cog in UWIC’s successful campaign, as a midfield play-maker and prolific points scorer.
Originally from Basingstoke, Simon graduated through the Harlequins Academy before travelling to New Zealand to play for the Otago province. The move to Wales followed as Simon took up a course in Sports Coaching at UWIC.
The young outside half had been targeted by a number of Premiership clubs, but decided on a move to Pontypridd, which will bolster the club’s strength in depth in the crucial half back department.
