Born in Pontypridd, Jeff Hazzard played for Pontypridd Schools, Glamorgan Schools, Pontypridd Youth, Welsh Youth, Newport RFC, Glamorgan County, and was a Wales B replacement.
He was a prolific points scorer for Pontypridd, with a final tally of 40 tries, 176 conversions, 155 penalties and 10 drop goals to his name.
Jeff was employed as a furniture draughtsman.
