Pontypridd RFC has enlisted the services of centre Geraint Walsh for the commencement of the 2012 – 2013 campaign.
Hailing from Llantwit Fardre, Geraint represented his home town club from youth to senior level before moving on to Llanharan, playing as a full back or wing.
Whilst a student at Loughborough University, Geraint was a key member of the team that won the British Universities Cup in 2010, and also gained representative honours with Welsh Academicals.
Geraint spent the summer of 2011 playing in New Zealand for the Western Pioneers club in the Auckland province.
Aged 23, standing at 5ft 11in and weighing in at 12st 12lbs Geraint has the key attributes of skill, power and pace which will now be utilised in the centre position by Pontypridd, being a welcome addition to the club's senior squad.
