Here's to a long and lasting partnership!
Here's to a long and lasting partnership!

Gareth Howells, Sales and Marketing Executive for Pontypridd RFC, is delighted to announce a new partner to the club.

First Campus will be the main sponsors of the Age-grade Rugby sections in the match programme and on the www.ponty.net website, we are delighted that First Campus have chosen to work with Pontypridd RFC and we look forward to a long and lasting partnership.

Kathryn Maddy, First Campus Manager explained:

First Campus is an exciting partnership of Higher Education Institutions, Further Education colleges and schools in South East Wales, which is funded by the Reaching Wider initiative.

First Campus aims to raise young people's educational achievements; to encourage young people to reach their potential and to improve awareness of the Higher Educational opportunities on their doorstep.

By promoting the First Campus project through the club we hope that we can encourage these young people to fulfill their potential and hopefully to go on to consider higher education in the future. We are also excited about possibly developing working relationships with the clubs age group sections to achieve these aims.

About First Campus

Through collaboration we run a series of exciting and challenging activities for a wide cross section of pupils who are at key stages 2, 3 and 4. Our activities fully complement the curriculum, enrich studies, encourage participation and are enjoyable for all participants.

Our aim is quite simply to raise educational standards, making a significant contribution to Welsh Assembly Government targets for Reaching Higher, Reaching Wider.
